To truly understand this oft quoted section of JFK’s 1961 speech, one must have some sense if not the experience of Wealth Creation as well as the despairing circumstances of the Peoples in Poverty. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

An alternate way is from the Study of Economics as Systems of the World<\/strong> under which Countries and Multinationals operate. It is here that Students in Plus II classes; whichever stream they may have selected, whether STEM or Arts and Humanities or even Commerce; It is though Economics that they truly understand History and the present Gap of living standards in our Society. It is from here they understand the need to contribute and not be limited down to job seekers; but to become entrepreneurs and to invent and innovate; as far as their main stream subjects can take them. ‘Necessity is felt; and it is as has always been, the Mother of Invention. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The study of Economics also unveils the dark side of History as well as the root causes of today’s wars. Whether it is Venezuelan Oil or Iran’s; or Libya’s vast off-shore reserves. It also unveils the Proxy War on Russia (as admitted by President Biden) and the rising and unceasing hostility towards China to win the AI Race for global and space domination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schools advancing the Study of Economics in however a limited manner – even as extra-curricula such as Literary Debates in Topics from Current Affairs – will be the ones nurturing highly responsible citizens if not Leaders of the Future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
